ABOUT SALVATION
At SBC, we are passionate about our beliefs and are committed to implementing Jesus Christ’s challenge to the church in The Great Commission. Honoring that charge He gave us in Matthew 28:19, we look to perform our role in assisting the global church in “making disciples of all the nations…”
Seeking to establish a conversation with you, and other SBC web guests, we maintain our faith in believing that Christ’s message has a place in your life as well. As His Word imbues our cause and principles, we look to assist you in discovering your spiritual purpose and development in Christ.
Following the message of Jesus Christ, our pastor has a heart for not only those who have experienced salvation, but also for those who are yet to engage eternal peace with our God. For this reason, if you have inquiries regarding Christianity, your salvation or Christ’s message to the church, please do not hesitate to contact us via web or phone. We have a specific ministry that is postured to accommodate your particular questions and needs.
We will continue to offer an opportunity to you and our global family a potential relationship that is built upon God’s Word, grace, and peace; because we embrace the SBC discipline that lives can change through the power of the God!
If you desire to give your life to Jesus Christ please read our SBC tract below and pray the prayer at the end. It is easy as: Accept, Believe, Confess!
SBC NEXT STEP
The Roman Road to Salvation
Step One
Step Two
The consequence of our sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
Step Three
Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin as He demonstrated His love towards us.
Step Four
If we repent of our sins, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of our lives, we will be saved from the penalty of sin.
Step Five
In order to experience the eternal life and unbroken fellowship with Jesus Christ, we must receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.
If you desire to give your life to Jesus Christ, we invite you to pray the following prayer:
“Lord, I realize that I am a sinner. I admit that I have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I understand that the wages of sin is death and that I have made mistakes in my walk. I desire to turn away from the lifestyle I have come to know, and I repent of all my sins. I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I ask that You come into my life, forgive my sins, and save me. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen”
If you just pray that prayer in sincerity, today is the beginning of the rest of your life.
Step Six
Remember that God has a plan for your life and if you desire to share your decision with us or would like additional information about salvation, feel free to call the church office at 706.738.5240 between the hours of 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. We’d love to hear from you and provide further guidance regarding your decision!
